The School of Urban Education is frustrated and troubled with the increase in islamophobic and xenophobic remarks made by politicians and ordinary people in the media.

In response the School of Urban education is teaming up with the Urban Teacher Program to host a public forum to express solidarity with Muslim communities. There will be a panel of speakers who will discuss headlines in the news that place blame on people of color and their communities.

The forum will be from 6 to 8 p.m. located in Founder’s Hall auditorium on Metropolitan State University’s Saint Paul campus.
