Minnesota artists are encouraged to submit ceramics for consideration in the Captivating Clay competition.

The Paramount Center for the Arts in downtown St. Cloud says they’re calling for entries as the deadline approaches.

To be eligible for submission, artwork cannot be longer than 36 inches in any direction and must be at least 50 percent clay.

First, second and third place winners will have their pieces on display in the Gallery Saint Germain. The Captivating Clay exhibit will be open Jan. 19-Feb. 25.

To apply, artists will upload photos of their art. Up to three art pieces can be considered with two images of each piece.

The application deadline is Dec. 30 and winners will be announced Jan. 8. Apply online with a submission form.
