The Minnesota Department of Transportation would like to advise drivers to slow down in work zones as prescribed roadside fires will be in the St. Cloud and Sauk Centre areas.

MnDOT says the fires are located near Highway 10 at the St. Cloud Travel Information Center and along the Lake Wobegon Trail near Sauk Centre.

The fires are being used to improve native vegetation and weed control.

With weather permitting MnDOT says the fires should stop May 31.
