A leadership program will be hosting an event in St. Cloud to show how the community can engage more people of color.

The Jugaad Leadership Program announced that Mary L. Thomas will be the guest speaker. Thomas is the Chief Operating Officer and an active leader in her home of Spartanburg, South Carolina. She will share her story of how she developed a program to inspire the unrepresented members of her community to take on leadership roles in Spartanburg.

The event will be held Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the Tuscan Center at Midtown Square Mall. A light meal and drinks will be served. Advanced registration is required.

The program was developed last year to empower the minority community to help be part of positive social change and is supported by regional grants.
