Two men were cited after nearly colliding along 8th Street North in St. Cloud Monday morning.

Sergeant Jason Burke says 38-year-old Byron Navas-Herrarte, of Roseville, was making a right hand turn in a semi-truck to go east on 8th Street, west of McLeland Road. He didn’t see a motorcycle heading in the same direction, driven by 21-year-old Lance Berg of St. Cloud.

Berg laid the bike down to avoid hitting the semi. He suffered minor injuries and refused medical attention.

Navas-Herrarte was cited for a right of way violation and Berg for no motorcycle endorsement.
