Drivers in St. Cloud and Collegeville should be ready for delays when driving on Interstate 94 as multiple lanes will be closed starting Friday morning.

The Department of Transportation says eastbound I-94, south of St. Cloud, will be reduced to a single lane at the intersection of Highway 15.

On Monday I-94 between Highway 23, west of St. Cloud, and County Road 159, near Collegeville will be reduced to a single lane as well.

These closures are part of a project to repair the east bound bridge and resurface six miles of I-94. They will last until May 26, MnDot advises drivers to seek alternate routes during rush hours.
