Another sign of spring is here, the National Weather Service has issued thunderstorm advisory in St. Cloud today. They are considering it non-severe for our part of the state.

St. Cloud State University Meteorology Professor Bob Weisman says central and southern parts of Minnesota will have significant rain falls and thunderstorms. A major storm is developing in Wisconsin which might bring strong winds, cold temperatures and snow.

The snowstorm could also lead to snow accumulation in northern Minnesota starting late Wednesday into early Thursday. Forecasters predict Arrowhead and Duluth might be affected by the snowstorm, but are not certain if there will be any snow in St. Cloud and Brainerd.

Weisman says our change of snow accumulating depends on how much the ground temperature goes down.
