Archived: New Handicap Accessible Playground Will Be Built
With help from the community, one elementary school in St. Cloud will be getting a brand new, handicap accessible playground.
District 742 Director of Community engagement Tami DeLand says staff and community volunteers will begin construction of the new adaptive playground this weekend.
Longtime volunteer at Talahi Community School, “Grandpa John” Bowden, teamed up with the local Lions Club to raise $250,000 to design and build a new playground that all kids can play on and enjoy.
