Northstar Link Commuter Bus is adding additional rides to and from Big Lake for the Minnesota Twins final regular season games at Target Field.

The Managing Director of Metro Bus, Tom Cruikshank, says an increase of riders is anticipated this weekend which is also Fan Appreciation Weekend. A bus will leave Transit Center at 3:55 p.m. Friday. Another extra service will be leaving the center at 9:15 a.m. Saturday. And, an extra bus will be departing from downtown at 10:35 a.m. Sunday.

Cruikshank adds there may be a concern between the transitioning of people from buses to trains because of the high number of fans attending the games. Riders are encouraged to buy their tickets in advance to avoid any delay in the departure time of services.
