Central Minnesota law enforcement officials issued 12 citations last Friday night as part of a targeted enforcement saturation. Officers participating in the “Central Minnesota Reduction of accidents for Safe Highways” (C.R.A.S.H.) Task Force zeroed in on Highway 23 between the Mississippi River in St. Cloud and the City of Cold Spring. In all, the task force issued 2 DWI arrests, 2 driving after withdrawal violations, 3 seat belt violations, and 1 speeding violation. The main goal of the task force is to reduce serious injury and fatal crashes in Minnesota.
