Archived: One Man Died In A Crash Sunday Near Morris
A 53-year-old Hancock man was killed in a crash between two trucks along Highway 9 Sunday afternoon.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a truck, driven by 17-year-old Morgan Molden of Hancock, was traveling north along the highway, just north of Morris. There were 2 passengers in Molden’s truck, 53-year-old Ricky Molden and 16-year-old Montana Molden.
They were struck head-on when another truck, heading the opposite direction, crossed the center line just before 5 p.m.
Ricky Molden was riding in the front passenger seat and was killed from the impact.
The truck that crossed the highway’s center line was driven by 53-year-old Randall Pashen of Morris.
Everyone else suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash and were taken to the hospital by ambulance.
