One person has died in a head on collision west of Willmar.

The Minnesota State Patrol says deputies were called to Highway 12 near 120th Street Northwest near the town of Pennock in Kandiyohi County at 6:47 a.m. Friday morning.

Deputies say a Cadillac Deville was travelling eastbound on Highway 12 when it crossed the center line into an oncoming lane. The Cadillac crashed head on with a 2014 Freightliner Semi.

The accident is currently under investigation. The victim has not been identified. The condition of the other driver is not known at this time.
