A Paynesville woman and her infant child were involved in a one car accident Wednesday morning near County Road 130 about 2 miles north of Paynesville.

 

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says the accident happened when 27-year-old Sara Lahr was driving southbound on County Road 130 with her 18-month-old son Alexander when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a field approach.

 

Sara Lahr was taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries and Alexander Lahr was in a car seat and received no injuries. 

 

Sanner says the roadway had accumulated large amounts of ice and snow from the high winds this morning.
