John Drake and Syd hit the studio once again this week to discuss two more mellow sounding, but huge releases! First up is the 6th release from singer Lana del Rey a.k.a. Elizabeth Grant. Her songwriting is some of the best yet on the new record “Norman Rockwell!”. Next up is the new release for veteran rocker Iggy Pop! Changing up his sound after 50 years doing music, this record is filled with spoken word and horn parts, but there are still some more “classic” sounding songs.
