Former Iranian Journalist Saideh Jamshidi Discusses Nuclear Agreement with Iran

News Director, Mohammad Najafian discusses the importance of the nuclear deal between Iran and other six world powers with a journalist of Iranian descent who currently lives in the United States. She has not been back to Iran for fear of her safety.

Najafian interviewed Saideh Jamshidi  in August 2015 to explore her understanding of the deal. Jamshidi owns a digital news website called Goltune. She and other reporters cover Muslim women fashion and life style in the United States, Canada and Middle East countries. She came to the States in 1999 when she was 26 years.

Prior to her trip to the States, she worked for Iran’s National TV as a producer and mostly for metropolitan newspapers such as Zan, which means ‘woman’ translated in English. Zan was founded and directed by Faezeh Rafsanjani, the daughter of the former president, Hashemi Rafsanjani and covers Muslim women’s lives in Iran and Middle East.
