Nelly Ortiz is an immigrant from Ecuador and gave a presentation entitled “Why we Leave” in the Atwood Theatre on her experience as an immigrant living in Chicago and with immigrant reform. This interview with KVSC news director Chris Duffy focuses on the issues leading to her moving away from her home country and her experiences once in the United States.
