KVSC’s 50th Birthday Celebration Oral Histories: Tim Crow, Peggy Keane, and many others

Over the past 50 years, KVSC has been the training ground for broadcast journalists throughout Minnesota and the nation, and we’ve also been the playground for musically entranced community volunteers and students. With a little bit of editing (but not too much) these are their stories . . .

In this podcast, members from the early 70’s crew sit down and have the memories flood back! Tim Crow, Kelly Prayman, and Peggy Keane talk about the Tie-Dye Revolution during the early days of KVSC when the format changed from classical music to rock and roll. And then a whole bunch of others get pulled into the studio for further discussion about all things nostalgic.

This program is funded in part by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Legacy Grant.
