Professor Mark Eden Talks about SCSU Creative Art Series Event, a Visit from Godfrey Reggio
In this edition of the Untold Stories of Central Minnesota, Arts & Cultural Heritage Producer Jeff Carmack sits down with Professor Mark Eden to talk about a major event within SCSU’s School of the Arts Creative Art Series, a visit from international film director Godfrey Reggio. Reggio’s films are like none other, and pretty much occupy a genre of their own.
They contain neither actors nor dialogue, just stunning visual images tied together with an ethereal soundtrack by Phillip Glass. The three films from his QATSI Trilogy were shown on campus before his new film Visitors was screened the Paramount Theater followed by a Question and Answer session with Godfrey Reggio.
