St. Martin Mayor Jim Rothstein Speaks at the Stearns History Museum about the JFK Assassination

In today’s edition of the Untold Stories of Central Minnesota, Arts & Cultural Heritage Producer Jeff Carmack sits down with St. Martin Mayor Jim Rothstein. Rothstein grew up in St. Martin, but left for the US Navy after high school, and this is when his life got interesting.

After serving on the USS Essex during the Bay of Pigs Invasion, Rothstein moved to New York City, joined the police department, became a detective, and eventually crossed paths with individuals involved with the John F Kennedy Assassination. Rothstein spoke at the Stearns History Museum in January of 2016 as part of their Breakfast Club Series.

This program is funded in part by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Legacy Grant.
