The History of the Kiehle Visual Arts Center and PAC Part 1
In this History Mystery episode, KVSC News Director Shay Lelonek talks with SCSU Archivist Tom Steman about the history of the Kiehle Visual Arts Center and the Performing Arts Center.
Both of those buildings are now closed to students. The Performing Arts Center closed last school year, in December 2024, and the Kiehle Visual Arts Center closed on May 8 after the conclusion of the spring semester.
Classes from Kiehle will be moving between Headly and Stewart Halls in the upcoming fall semester, and the Performing Arts Center is set to be the first of multiple buildings on campus to eventually be demolished in favor of creating more green space on campus.
