The SCAR Dolls, also known as the St. Cloud Area Roller Dolls, Team Up to Prevent Suicide with SCSU Partner, Promoting a Caring Community
This Untold Story is presented with a bit of a twist… it’s about “preventing untold stories” as Arts & Cultural Heritage Producer Jeff Carmack sits down with a couple of the SCAR Dolls Roller Derby team members and a representative from their partner organization, Promoting a Caring Community, which is an SCSU grant funded organization dedicated to suicide prevention. The SCAR Dolls hosted a fundraising and awareness doubleheader bout at the Bernicks Arena in Sartell at the end of June in 2013.
