In this Untold Story of Central Minnesota, KVSC Public Affairs Programming Producer Gracie J. chats with the lead singer of the band Fastball, Tony Scalzo.

The Grammy-nominated band scored major alternative rock radio hits in the 1990s with songs such as “The Way” and “Out of My Head.”

And: They released their ninth studio album Sonic Ranch in July 2024.

Fastball is currently on tour with the Barenaked Ladies and Guster and are playing The Ledge Amphitheater in Waite Park on Sunday, June 15, 2025.

Gracie J. spoke with Scalzo just before tour kicked off earlier this month.
