The Untold Story of Lykke Theatre’s Production of “Almost, Maine”

In today’s Untold Story of Central Minnesota, KVSC Public Affairs Programming Producer Gracie J. chats with Kelli Killmer and Megan Seamans of Lykke Theatre.

After a huge success with Lykke’s first show, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, the two co-founders and co-directors decided upon the romantic comedy Almost, Maine for their second.

Written by John Cariani, the play is a collection of short plays which follow the love stories of Almost, Maine’s residents one cold, clear Friday night.

Gracie chats with Killmer and Seamans about directing one of the most frequently performed plays in the United States.

This program was made possible through support from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.
