The Untold Story of the Foley Mansion Part 1

In this Untold Story of Central Minnesota, KVSC News Director Gracie J. takes us through part one of her tour through the historic Foley Mansion in South St. Cloud.

The Foley Mansion is located on 3rd Avenue South near the campus of St. Cloud State University and opened to the public earlier this year after an extensive restoration project.

One of the rooms in Foley Mansion. There is a fireplace with a stained glass window above it and four vintage chairs and a vintage yellow couch circling a wooden coffee table.
This room in the Foley Mansion includes an innovative design for the fireplace that allows for the placement of stained glass window directly above it, where a chimney would usually prevent such a look.

A stained glass window that includes the image of an old-time telephone in the design
The stained glass window above the front door pays tribute to the owners’ telecommunication business.

A wooden floor with ornate designs etched into it
The remodel included bringing in ornate design work to the wood floors.
