The Untold Story of the Stearns History Museum Resuming Programming as the COVID Pandemic Wanes

n today’s Untold Story of Central Minnesota, Arts & Cultural Heritage Producer Jeff Carmack sits down with Stearns History Museum Executive Director Carie Essig as the museum begins to open back up to the public with a variety of programming coming up this summer. 


The Minnesota League of Women Voters Exhibit is currently open in the lobby, and then on Wednesday, June 9th, the Breakfast Club starts up again with CentraCare Archivist Brendon Duffy presenting on CentraCare’s role during the last pandemic of 1918. There are also numerous Living History events surrounding the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II.

Plus, the new layout of the museum provides more opportunities for larger and more inviting exhibits! And, what’s up with that freezer?
