University of Mary 2018 Baseball Preview
KVSC’s Thomas Breach previews the upcoming 2018 NSIC Baseball campaign in a 30 minute special edition of “NSIC Watch”.
The first team on the agenda is Joel Barta’s University of Mary squad, a unit picked 15th in the NSIC Preseason Coaches’ Poll after a 12-35 record in 2017.
Jake Johnson was named the Pitcher to Watch for U-Mary entering 2018, while JUCO transfer right fielder Jesus Payan was picked as the Marauders’ Player to Watch. The Marauders open their season on March 2nd against Gannon University at 1:30 p.m. in Auburndale, Florida.
