St. Cloud police are seeking the public’s help in locating a man who robbed a Walgreens store the day after Christmas. The armed robbery happened at 11:44 p.m. on December 26th at the Walgreens located at 2505 Division Street West. Lieutenant Jeff Oxten says a man entered the store, walked to the front counter, displayed a handgun and demanded cash.

The suspect got an undisclosed amount of cash and then fled the store on foot. Police believe the suspect ran north on 25th Avenue and then East on 1st Street North. Officers set up a perimeter and used K9 dog to track him, however he was not found. No injuries were reported as a result of the robbery.

The suspect is described as a black man, in his late 40s, approximately 5’10” tall, weighing 180-190 pounds with brown eyes and freckles on his face and cheeks. The suspect was wearing a stocking hat and a black hooded winter jacket that had noticeable gray rectangular patches on the tops of the shoulders and above both breast pockets.
