Archived: Production Of Dead Accounts Coming To SCSU
Tickets are now on sale to catch a production of Theresa Redbeck’s “Dead Accounts” at St. Cloud State University.
First performed in Cincinnati, “Dead Accounts” is about the mid-life crisis of an ex-banker, Jack. The plot thickens when Jack’s wife, Jenny, announces that he has stolen millions of dollars from his bank’s so-called dead accounts.
Director Vladimir Rovinsky says, “It’s a story about coming back to your childhood house and trying to figure out what is important and what is not. The play is very fast-paced, witty, funny and a little sad as well.”
The production is part of the 2016-17 Creative Arts Series to heighten student interest through art, music, film and theatre.
“Dead Accounts” will be performed in SCSU’s Performing Arts Center’s Arena Stage Nov. 29-Dec. 4. Shows begin at 7:30 p.m. and a matinee is at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4. Tickets are on sale online for $10 for adults, $7 for non-SCSU students, and free with a Husky student ID.
Parking is available for $3 in the 4th Ave. Parking Ramp.
