The Human Rights Commission will be holding a panel on renters’ rights in St. Cloud next week.

St. Cloud Area Regional Human Rights Officer Heidi Hovis says she will join Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid Director Ann Cofell in a discussion. The topic will cover discrimination issues, the application process for rental homes, tenants’ rights, landlord responsibilities, and ways to get help if these needs are not being met. A special session will be held to reach out to the Somali community with interpreters present.

The panel discussion on rental rights will be Wednesday at St. Cloud City Hall at 6 p.m.
