Officers with the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force arrested 44-year-old Dennis Giese of Rice who is suspected of harvesting 19 marijuana plants and items associated with a grow operation.

The task force team carried out a search warrant at a mobile home park located at 11000 Highway 10 North after getting information from citizens about marijuana being grown. The team then got a second search warrant from Morrison County for investigating a property owned by Giese in Elmdale Township near Little Falls where they found the plants.

Giese is facing charges of 5th degree possession of controlled substance. The task force was assisted by Benton and Morrison County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Rice Police Department.
