A 29-year-old man died in a rear end accident on Highway 25 in Benton County Wednesday night.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a truck driven by Jeffrey Skroch of Rice was stopped in the northbound lane of Highway 25. Another truck, driven by 31-year-old Christopher Marzofka, was traveling the same direction when he rear ended Skroch. He was standing on the road when he was killed.

The cause of the accident is under investigation. The Rice Fire Department and Benton County Sheriff’s Office assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
