Archived: Roadwork on Highway 25 Between Becker and Foley Begins This Week

Drivers will encounter paving crews working, lane closures and delays as segments of Highway 25 between Highway 10 in Becker and Highway 95 south of Foley. Certain parts of the highway will be reduced to a single lane beginning Tuesday. It’s all part of a resurfacing project of 13 miles of Highway 25.

The closures will occur Mondays through Saturdays from sunrise to sunset, through early August.

MN-DOT says they will have flaggers and a pilot car to allow one-way, alternating traffic through the work zone. Motorists should slow down and prepare to stop, obey flaggers and use caution as they follow the pilot car through the work zone.

Drivers entering a work zone from driveways or roads that intersect Highway 25 must wait for the pilot car to pass, and then follow it through the work zone.

When the work is done, the project will improve the road’s ride and safety.
