One person was hospitalized after a rollover near Getty Township Monday night.

Stearns County Sherriff John Sanner reports that around 8 p.m. Jose Antonio Ojeda-Lopes rolled his SUV into the ditch along County Road 186.

Witness Bradley Holmquist said Ojeda-Lopes was not driving in his own lane and swerved too far causing him to lose control.

Ojeda-Lopes was the only person in the SUV. Investigators believe alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

Ojeda-Lopes was taken to Sauk Center Hospital for medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries. He was issued a citation for careless driving, driving after revocation and no proof of insurance.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office was also assisted by the MN State Patrol for traffic control.
