The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office helped a Sartell man whose vehicle caught fire Wednesday night on 390th Street near County Road 1.

 

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says the fire started when 51-year-old Steven Schwartz was driving his daughter’s truck to Frederick’s auto shop for repairs when it started to overheat and then catch fire. 

 

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office and St. Stephen Fire Department arrived at the scene to assist Schwartz as he was able to safely get out of the vehicle without any injuries.
