A Sauk Rapids woman was taken to the hospital after a rollover accident on County Road 21 Wednesday afternoon.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says deputies responded to a two-car accident at the intersection of County Road 9 and 21 in Eden Lake Township just north of Eden Valley.

43-year-old Lisa Dahl was driving a an SUV southbound on Country Road 9 and 78-year-old Kenneth Bates was driving his car westbound on Country Road 21 and failed to see Dahl and passed through the stop sign.  Bates collided with Dahl causing her vehicle to rollover two times before coming to a halt in the west ditch.

Eden Valley Rescue checked Dahl out of her Jeep, while Bates was taken to the Paynesville hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Both of the drivers had their seatbelts on and their airbags deployed.
