A man jumped into the Mississippi River from the south side of the 9th Avenue Bridge in Le Sauk Township Thursday morning.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says 29-year-old Lucas Bialke of Sauk Rapids jumped off the bridge alone and was later found on the shore by Sauk Rapids Fire and Rescue.

He was taken to the St. Cloud hospital and believed to not have suffered any life threatening injuries.
