The Sauk Rapids Police Department has asked for the public’s help in finding a missing Sauk Rapids woman who has a known number of health issues.

 

Police say 33-year-old Meghan Schmelz of Sauk Rapids went missing on Monday after walking away from her home not dressed for the weather. She was last seen at Lions Park in Sauk Rapids around 5 p.m.

 

Schmelz is described as 5’9”, 227 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes, she also had a tattoo on her neck with the letters “EJ.” She was last seen wearing jeans, a purple hoodie and had a bandaged left foot from previous frostbite.

UPDATE: Schmelz has been located with the help of the St. Cloud Police Department. She is fine and safe.
