St. Cloud State University announced Dr. Gail Ruhland as the new interim executive director for the Center for Continuing Studies.

Ruhland has worked at St. Cloud State for 14 years as the director for Training and Program Development for Corporate Education and Outreach. Her work is centered on creating opportunities for professionals through developmental programs, such as career explorations for "at risk" youth in St. Cloud and the week-long Law Enforcement Executive Development Seminar.

Ruhland attended Concordia College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in business management and communication. She completed her master’s in business administration and Doctorate of Higher Education Administration at SCSU.

The position as interim executive director began July 1.
