St. Cloud State University will be hosting a Day of Percussion to offer those interested in percussive instruments educational and performance opportunities.

 

The event will feature performances and percussion clinics led by special guests John Wooten, a rudimental drumming specialist and Gordy Knudtson, a drum set artist.

 

There will also be student competitions on marching snare or drum set. The competition is for students ages 13-18 with prizes for those who place from first through third.

 

The Day of Percussion begins this Saturday on April 18 at 10 a.m. in the Ritsche Auditorium on the campus of St. Cloud State.
