The St. Cloud State University music department is hosting a Halloween Spooktacular at the Kimberly Ritsche Auditorium on Thursday night.

 

The Halloween inspired musical event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the Stewart Hall lobby hosting a musical themed haunted house with stations staffed by student volunteers who will lead games, paint faces, and hand out treats. The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. and Band Director Catharine Bushman notes the concert will open with Leonard Bearnstein’s “Slava!” 

 

The music department notes other pieces the band will be playing include a concert march, a medley of Irish tunes, and a Disney medley. The event is open to the public and admission is free and costumes are encouraged.
