Archived: SCSU Receives Major Grant from National Science Foundation And Department of Homeland Security
St. Cloud State University has received a $2.78 million Scholarship for Service Award from the National Science Foundation and the Department of Homeland Security.
The five-year grant will provide two-year scholarships for six students each year beginning in the fall of 2015. The awards will go to the top three undergraduate students in information technology security and the top three graduate students in information assurance.
The award also certifies that St. Cloud State is now a member of the CyberCorp Scholarships for Service Community. The community is made up of about 55 universities around the country working to educate and train students to be future cybersecurity professionals.
