St. Cloud State University is welcoming Jennifer Mueller as the new dean of the School of Education.

Mueller is from Madison, Wisconsin, and currently works as a faculty member and chair for the Early Childhood Education program with the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. She has experience teaching at the elementary and college levels, which includes six years of administrative work.

Her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin- Madison is in elementary education. Mueller also went on to complete a Master’s of Science in Educational Foundations and Policy and a Doctorate in Educational Studies- Teacher Education.

Steve Hoover has held the interim dean position for two years in the School of Education. Mueller starts as the dean July 1.
