St. Cloud State University’s Music Department will host its seventh annual music concert with a guest conductor from Yale University later this month.

The Music Department is welcoming guest conductor Jeffrey Douma of Yale University to lead the concert. It will include performances by SCSU Concert Choir, the Apple Valley Eastview High School Concert Choir and The Big Sing Honor Choir featuring a crew of 200 high school and collegiate choral singers.

The concert will take place on Jan. 31st staring at 5 p.m. at the Ritsche Auditorium in Stewart Hall. The concert is free to SCSU students and available to the public at a small fee.

Part of the proceedings will be used as the scholarships available to students at the Music Department.
