One of President Barack Obama’s staff will be coming to St. Cloud State University this weekend to speak at Hmong Night 2016.

Member of the Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders Commission Bo Thao is the special guest and he’s speaking on the night’s theme, “Listen to our Words.”

The theme is also showcased through song, dance and a three-part skit written and performed by the students of Hmong Student Organization. The night also includes traditional food prepared by the students including sticky rice and Hmong sausage.

Hmong Night is Saturday at 6 p.m. in the Atwood Memorial Center Ballroom. The event is open to the public and admission is $8.
