St. Cloud State has announced a new interim dean for the School of Public Affairs.

The President’s Office says King Banaian will step up to the position after Orn Bodvarsson accepted dean of the College of Social Sciences and Interdisciplinary Studies at California State University- Sacramento.

Banaian was chosen for his 30 years of experience at SCSU as a professor, author, and director of the School of Public Affairs Research Institute.

President Earl Potter III says King’s proven track record will continue to keep the School of Public Affairs on a successful path.

Banaian will start August 1st.
