A suspect in a sex trafficking investigation was arrested last week.

Waite Park Police Chief Dave Bentrud says that officers got a call around 11 p.m. Friday about a suspect in a sex trafficking case that might be at a party. Police arrived to the house in the 400 block of 29th Avenue North and confirmed that 22-year-old Deandre Jones was there. Jones then fled from police and was tased and arrested.

Jones is being held at the Stearns County Jail on charges of promotion of prostitution, probation violation on a felon in possession of a firearm conviction, and obstructing the legal process.
