Archived: Sheriff’s Department Says Miami Man Jailed After Threatening To Kill Another Man With A Pitchfork

A Miami man was arrested on charges of 2nd degree assault and making terroristic threats with a pitchfork Friday afternoon.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says deputies responded to a farm field by the intersection of County Road 69 and 205th Street in Crow River Township south of Georgeville in western Stearns County. A caller reported one worker was threatening another worker with a pitchfork.

The sheriff’s report says 42-year-old Luis Ramon Dominguez of Miami, Florida argued with a 25-year-old Brooten man at work in the field. Dominguez grabbed the pitchfork and threatened to kill the other worker. He chased the victim and stabbed the pitchfork into the ground when the victim fell in a ditch. Other workers had separated the two men.

Dominguez was arrested and taken to the Stearns County Jail waiting for his court appearance.
