A Shorewood man was hospitalized Monday after his van rear ended a snowplow on Interstate 94 near Monticello.

47-year-old Brad Vance was driving his plow truck down the westbound lane of I-94 when 55-year-old Paul Boynton of Shorewood crashed into the back of Vance’s plow. Boynton was taken to the Monticello Hospital for serious injuries and later transferred to North Memorial Hospital.

The accident is still under investigation.
