Archived: Six People Injured in Crash Sunday Afternoon in St. Joseph
Several members of a family were injured in an accident Sunday afternoon at a busy intersection near St. Joseph.
Stearns County deputies responded to the crash just before 2 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 2 and County Road 75.
A truck, driven by 52-year-old Thomas Schrup, of St. Joseph, was traveling northbound on County Road 2 and he was unable to stop for the red light at the intersection with County Road 75. He hit an S-U-V driven by 49-year-old Hermenegidlo Olivares of Perham.
Olivares and his five passengers, ages 8 months to 43 years old, were taken to the St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries by Gold Cross ambulance. Schrup and his passenger were not injured.
