A 14-year-old teenager from Spicer received the Future Farmers of America Award given by Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.

Daniel Williamson attends at Atwater Cosmos Grove City High school and lives on a certified organic farm with his parents. His curiosity about water quality and chemicals found in water led him to carry out a three-year long project and the award he received in the 24th year of the award program.
